It humbles me when I think about the price each of our team of ministers had to pay to do the work of God. As a spiritual and natural mother, you do not think about the prices you pay until those that are close to you have to pay them as well.
When Craig and I left everything we owned and were behind in South Africa, we entered a world where we lived by faith and the grace of God alone. There were times along our journey when we as adults fasted so our children could eat. Do we regret this? No, because through it we pressed through to reach God's mighty warriors in places we could not imagine!
It strengthened our faith and brought A.M.I. to the place where it is today. Today though as I look at some of the challenges we face as a team and when I look at the price our ministers pay to do the work, I am grateful for people like our partners that give at just the right time. Because we live by faith for our daily needs there are times when we flourish and can give out more and then there are other times when the fridges are bare and we literally seek God for our daily bread.
During these moments the faithful have stepped forward with a knock at the door with a gift or finances. There is no doubt in my heart that God still provides and looks after His own.
We have a special relationship with our partners that is close to our hearts and so Craig and I would also like to give you this opportunity to be a part of something bigger than yourself.
We know that your heart burns for the Lord, but it is not easy to just give up everything and to go into the work of the ministry. You can help though by being a loving support to those in our team who have. We at AMI do not preach tithing and neither do we pass around the "collection plate" at our seminars. We have mostly gained our financial support through our schools and materials. What is earned through these sales is put right back into the ministry again.
We would LOVE the opportunity to give even more away for free in the way of tangible materials than what we already do, however until our partner base increases, we are dependant on sales to pay the larger expenses each month.
As you have received from us as a ministry, I know that you have felt something different. We are not here to "make a quick buck" or get "our names in lights." Rather we want to teach the Church a very powerful message. A message that every believer can have a face-to-face relationship with Jesus!
We want the Church to know that she is called to be a City on a Hill where every believer walks in the fullness of their calling and in the authority and power of the Holy Spirit. We want to see the Church on fire! We already have the ministers who have this passion to pass on, all we are asking for is for partners to help us support these ministers so that they do not have to get weighed down with the cares of personal needs.
To give up family, regular income and home is but a small price for us to pay to do what we know God has called us to do. We are inviting you to be a part of that vision and to help us as we give our all to the Lord and His people.
We invite you to read a bit on our partnership page and realize that we are looking for a lot more than financial support - we are looking for mighty warriors to come and stand by our side as we take the land that God has given to us.
As parents, Craig and I share with you the care that we have for each minister and pray that the Lord will raise those up who have what it takes to enable us to keep doing and keep giving out the treasure He has put inside of us.
