Called to Succeed
May this word be the wind beneath your wings. "Come to me all you who are heavy laden. Did I not create a road in the desert and a river in the wilderness? My Child, look to Me, so I can be your source of blessing... Click Here to Read More

Normally, I try to come to you with an encouraging word or something uplifting in some sort of way. However, today I want to change it up a bit. I want to come to you with a challenge? Are you ready for it?

I can see all the expressive natured people shouting, "Bring it on!" :)

Ok. Over the past while, as I am talking to someone live or over the phone, I like to ask them, "How has everything been lately?" I am sure that you know this already because you have read many of my letters.

We all know that this is just common courtesy to ask this question or something similar. However, many times you will hear people respond with, "Everything is going well. I am fine. Everything is perfect because I have Jesus Christ!"

I really love this cliché that I have heard. It says, "I am too blessed to be stressed and too anointed to be disappointed." Hahaha. I really love that. It is a cute saying.

However, let's get real, shall we? Are you really doing ok whenever someone asks you? If you are truly honest, do you always have a good day? Are you really too blessed that you never experience stress or too anointed that you never experience disappointment?

Even the Son of God himself was stressed with religious leaders. He called them "white-washed tombs". I do not think he did that because he was full of joy and gladness in that moment.

The Lord challenged me recently to really get into other people's space and say, "No. How do you really feel? What is really going on in your life right now? I know that something is bothering you. I am here. Let me be a friend."

I am not going to lie to you. This is not always easy. We have so much going on in our lives that if we be honest, we do not have time to sit and listen to someone share their "woes" with us.

However, as I did this just a few times, I found that there was so much lying beneath the surface that was eating believers alive.
Family members are sick, finances are low, jobs are scarce, people cannot find homes, generational curses are rampant in lives, marriages are a mess, the list went on and on.

The problem is that not many people care enough to really "be there" for others. Sometimes we "listen" to others, but we do not really take heed to the words they say and do all that we can to help them.

So, my challenge today is for each one of us to take responsibility and be accountable before the Lord to check up on our brothers and sisters in Christ. Let's be a body that is united and not a body divided against itself.

The Word of God says that a house divided against itself cannot stand. If we want to bring the glory of God into this world, we need unity amongst brethren. We need to flow in the agape love of Jesus Christ.

The way we are going to take the land for the Lord most effectively is with... LOVE! It is still the greatest power and no demon in Hell can fight against it. Every knee must bow and all darkness indeed flees when the agape love of Christ is shown from our hearts.

Therefore, though I have challenged you, I want to also encourage you once again. Yeah… you know that I just cannot leave without saying something encouraging. Hey, we have to build one another in faith, hope and love, right? :)

Everything that you have been seeking the Lord for, all the problems that have been arising, put someone else's problems above yours and watch how the Lord meets your very own needs and fixes your problems right before your eyes as well.

The Word says that when we give, it will be given back to us. What we sow in faith, hope and love, will come back to us in the same measure. When you [agape] love others, the Lord will always cover you too.

Response from Alex : Yes...and Amen! Let the ministry of compassion come alive in the Body of Christ and God will be pleased. Thank you for the conviction in your heart and sharing it with us. God bless you.

Response from Clara : This came at a time when I most needed it.Yes we are who and what we say we are, but we must use those words in truth, the mask must come off so we can do what God wants us to do.

Response from Rigena : Standing in the same conviction. I had recently posted the same exact thing but in different terms. One body same spirit...love you ALL

Response from Eva Haglund : Dear Nathan! I really agree! Today not many preach or talk about love but God is love. Jesus say in John.15:12-13 that we will love each other.I do not think he just mean in a churchbuiding because church is not a buiding but sisters and brothers in real friendship as in Acts.2:46 breaking bread and fellowship in the houses. You cannot know all well but show love. In John17:21 Jesus pray that love as we get from God will e a testimony to the world. Agree that people are like actris sometimes not telling the truth but the bible tell us to carry each other burdens and also in real friendship more people dare to be themselves telling the truth. We need to be open to each other to be able to help each other. In John17:21 I think Jesus pray for love in Body of Christ to be a testimony both about friendship and also with people who you do not know wrll to be " one" - love between churches - also one Body and global -one Body with Jesus as the head. I think it is a new time when God wants to restore more love in Body of christ and more in team. In 1 Cor.12 it is written that we need each other as different parts in a body need each other. We need each other not just in a churchbuiding but in real frienship and also love to people in the Body we cannot know well. I think Jesus wants team to be connected to each other. In a revival I think the relation to Jesus is first but then I also think that love to each other standing together as one Body -needing each other instead of as we see many times one man as the church- is what we need. I think in the future in a revival that God is going to use whoever he wants. Jesus showed practical love and fellowship in John.21. Jesus tols us to wash each other`s feet -also I think about that he ment to show love to each other. Jesus lived love and gave all in love. The biggest love - giving his life for us.isaias.53.
He tell us in John.15:13 that the deepest love we can show is to give our life for our friends. Here he talks about love
among christians. We need I agree - Agape!
I also belive in Ps.133 that there can be christians who live close to each other.
I like that you talked about love.
I totally agree!
We need to think about each other.
Shalom and blessings!

Response from Robert Kayula - Zambia : The greatest commandment beside loving our maker is that of loving our neibhour especially the one who offends us. However, the problem lies in expressing this love in form of actual deeds.

Response from carlus : Hello Nathanwe,l greet you in Jesus name. First I want to thank you for those encouraging words, everything you said is true, especially when we're facing difficult times in our life's.So whenever we're praying we should always remember that someone else out there is facing something that is bigger than what am going through, God bless you all.

Response from Anonomous : I totally agree with you in that we need to help others and walk in love. As a new Supervisor in a large airport, I see a lot of people are burnt out and frustrated. My goal,( as this is why I accepted this difficult challenge), is to encourage them in their lost dreams and goals, and to bring hope to them by walking in the love of God toward them. God has an awesome plan for their lives no matter who they are or where they've been. He can change any situation for the better. I pray God's wisdom and love be poured through me to them and that His will be done. I pray also for all of you reading this that God's precious love and blessings be poured through you in your assignment as well. Praise the Lord!!!

Response from margaret ogoh : thank you my brother... you are right. everything is not fine. my friend and prayer partner made me so angry, and i told her i don't want her as my friend again.
